The Ocean Club Tennis Facility at IRP is owned and operated by the Hutchinson Island Marriott Beach Resort & Marina located at the entrance to IRP.
The Ocean Club has 13 recently renovated Nova Grass courts -- five of which are lighted -- to greet novices and experts alike. The newly redone tennis pro shop, which is open Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, provides all the accessories you'll need to stay at the top of your game. (TBA: Our talented certified professional, Jonathan Andrews, is ranked 12th in the state of Florida USPTA Men’s Open Singles Division in 2014 and continues to play competitively. He provides lessons and clinics and has scheduled numerous member events for players of all ages and skill levels.)
With everything from round robins to social mixers to dinner-dances, there are many opportunities to meet others who share your passion for the game. In addition, the Ocean Club Tennis Program hosts professional exhibitions each year that members are invited to attend including the USPTA Grand Prix Pro Tennis Tournament, Sharing the Harvest Pro Exhibition and more.
